I have made over 100 games, and I will keep making more.
I love making games! I'm a game designer, artist, programmer, sound designer, composer, voice actor, whatever is needed!
I started making video games when I was 12, when I got my first computer. Before that I had already been scribbling game designs in my school notebooks, creating my own Pokémon-inspired trading card games, and forcing my parents play my horrible home-made dice rolling board games.
Near the end of high school I realized that making games is, in fact, a real profession, and I ditched my med school plans and went to study programming instead. I have not regretted that decision!
I have a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science, Tampere University, graduated in 2020. My main interests programming-wise are procedural content generation and animation, and game feel. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Tampere University for over 3 years.
In 2020, I joined Still Running, to work as a programmer on the game Morbid: The Seven Acolytes. After the game was finished, I realized I wanted to do more than just programming, and proceeded to form my own company, Bosmic Forge, in 2021.
With a strong background in programming, I also wanted to improve my art skills, and in 2021 I started new studies at Tampere University of Applied Sciences, Bachelor of Media and Arts, Interactive Media.
In 2024, I crossed a huge milestone in my game development career when I released my first Bosmic Forge game, Ants Took My Eyeball, on Steam.
I grew up with GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, and PlayStation 1, and that really shows in my art. I love crispy pixel art with strong colors and detailed animation, and low-poly models with crunchy low-res textures.
I'm a big fan of Game Jams, and I take part in 2-4 jams a year. I like working with people, but sometimes I do feel the urge to work solo, to challenge myself and test my limits as a one-man dev team.
I mostly make pixel art, as it's super quick to make and animate, and in my opinion looks great, but I also have experience in 3D modeling, texturing and animation.
Thanks for your interest, I hope you enjoy my games! ✨
